In 1990 we were two recent college grads looking for direction. After a brief stint with a Security Company we decided to take a blind leap of faith and start our own company. With a business license, an office in our den and a fearlessness fueled by youth, Protection By Design was born.

In the beginning we concentrated on Security Installations. However, the evolving needs of our clients soon prompted us to expand our offerings to include Audio/Video, Automation and Connectivity Services.

Since the day we started we have been committed to helping people elevate their lives by making their homes safer, more entertaining and better connected.

At Protection By Design we do not use sub-contractors. We hire, train and supervise a talented team of professionals most of whom have been with us for 10+ years. 

Our Management Team has a combined 150+ years of experience in the industry, all as members of our PBD Team.

We continue to offer our team education and training to make sure we are able to offer you, our clients the very best services available.
